Our new favourite conveyor belt Sushi restaurant
“Hamazushi” was our favourite Sushi restaurant until last year, but an update has come this year, our new favourite is “Sushiro“.

Why do we recommend Sushiro?
We still like Hamazushi, but the waiting time always was a problem. Hamazushi und other chain Sushi restaurants like “Kurazushi” have reservation systems, but a Japanese mobil phone number is necessary to sign up.
For international tourists without friends in Japan, it would be impossible to reserve their table with such a system. Because these restaurants are very popular for Japanese people too, so it is not seldom to wait for around 1 hour. In Hamazushi, we could be comforted by the lovely trilingual robots, Pepper during the long waiting time.
Sushiro offers its own app!
Because we saw many TV spots of Sushiro in Japan, we tried Sushiro for the first time this year. But we wanted to avoid to waste our time in Japan in line. We found that Sushiro offers its own app! It was good news that Japanese phone numbers are not necessary to sign in with this app.
Only Japanese is available as a language for this app, but we could manage to reserve our table at the nearest restaurant from Sushiro!

How fresh it is, even though it's conveyor belt Sushi
Thanks to the reservation, we could take our seat in Sushiro without waiting time. It was a bit too early for dinner time, but many people were already at the waiting corner. Without a reservation, we surely would have waited for our table for a long time.
Not only the reservation, the quality of the food was really good!
OK, Sushiro is a little bit more expensive than Hamazushi, but it was worth paying more for such good quality. Especially, we recommend sea urchin, if you don’t hate such special sea food, you must try it!
