Confection for a small price
We already tested some famous confections in Tokyo so we expected not that high quality from this sweet from the supermarket.
Surely, there is a difference between the Baum Roll and expensive Baumkuchens in Tokyo, but we were positively surprised by the quality and cost performance of this small sweet.
The cake was not dry, maybe thanks to the coating made of white chocolate. The price was really low, it costed only 130 Yen with 7 Baumrolls!
Unbelievable, one Baumroll costs under 20 Yen!
We should be wondering what we can get with 20 cents here. We totally agree with this small sweet being beloved for over 40 years in Japan.
