Getting in touch with real Akita dogs
It is also possible to get in touch with real Akita dogs here. Except Monday, from 9:30 until16:15 (12:30-13:15 is break time) you can pet real Akita dogs. Taking photos is allowed, but not if you are using flash.
During our visit, “Kaede” was playing at this corner. We were only allowed to pet Kaede for 10 minutes, but she enchanted us.
Before petting, it is necessary to wash your hands with some hand sanitiser and rub it well.
If you want to have more contact with real Akita dogs, we recommend to stay in Furusawa onsen.
